During my recent stay at Guleria, a beautifully renovated 18th-century riverside mansion, I experienced a unique blend of luxury and value. The room, offering splendid views of the Ganges, featured modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities, which provided ample comfort. The staff demonstrated commendable hospitality, notably Wasem, who greeted guests warmly and ensured a pleasant dining experience, even accommodating late breakfast requests. The availability of a hotel boat for quicker access to the sunset aarti was a thoughtful touch, enhancing convenience. Though my overall experience was enjoyable, I felt the pricing could be considered on the higher side, especially given the area's bustling environment. It's wise to balance the serene ambiance with potential additional expenses like airport shuttles and tours. All told, Guleria presents a noteworthy choice for those appreciating tranquility without compromising essential comforts, making it a sound investment for travelers.
